Are you looking for ways to grow your hair longer? Juicing fruits and veggies promotes hair growth. It’s a great way to get the vitamins and nutrients your hair needs without having to take vitamins.
Many of us naturals are guilty of focusing the majority of our attention on external hair care i.e. – washing, moisturizing, and protective styling our hair. But as @lovelyanneka said in her YouTube video about growing long hair, “you cannot forget internal…take care of your hair outside and inside as well.”
Here is an easy recipe I call StrawBana juice that is filled with nutrients your hair will love.
Vitamins, minerals, and nutrients your hair needs:
- B Vitamins (B6 + B12)
- Vitamin C
- Beta Carotene
- And Zinc
Hair Growth Promoting Nutrients contained in StawBana Juice:
- Vitamin C
How to Make StawBana Juice:
You’ll need a box of strawberries (approx. 30 medium sized strawberries), two bananas, and ice.
Wash off your strawberries.
Set them aside in a bowl.
Juice your strawberries. If you do not have a juicer you can blend the strawberries. The reason I juice my strawberries is because it’s hard for me to drink thick liquids with floaties. I prefer my juice to be as pulp free as possible.
Peel your two bananas.
Place your bananas in the fruit bowl.
Add a handful of ice to your blender.
Add the stawberry juice and the cut banana slices to the blender. Use your “pulse” blender setting first to crush the ice and then switch to liquify mode. The batch will produce 40 oz of StawBana juice.
