DIY Lemon and Honey Beauty Mask

July 17, 2014 by Nikole

A wise woman once told me that taking care of your skin is one of the most important things you can do as a young woman. Proper skin care sets the tone for healthy, clear, and youthful looking skin for years to come. I must admit at first I was lazy and neglected my skin because it just seemed to be too time consuming. Constantly cleansing, toning, moisturizing, etc. was a waste. It wasn’t until I saw I drastic change in the clarity of my skin that I began to take it more seriously.

Now I’m completely in love with all things skin care. Especially when it comes to applying masks. I make a point to try and do it once a week, or at the least twice a month. Masks provide so many great properties such as healing the skin, unclogging pores, softening and more. But it’s important to remember just as you change your hair care regiment with the changing seasons, you should apply the same practice to your skin care regimen. For example, I prefer to do my heavier masks in the wintertime when my skin is the most dry. So what are you waiting for? Go on and give beauty masks a try!

Here is a simple DIY face mask you can to get you started.
